During the Easter Weekend many jet skis were towed in. Thank you to all the boaties who were involved.

21 1600 to 1715 hours “Ocean Watch” was deployed with Mike, Chris, Scott and Chrissy onboard after a concerned boatie reported a vessel anchored south/west of Escape Is (Lighthouse) with no people onboard. When our crew arrived at the scene two people were just departing the location.  The occupants of the vessel had been out surfing.   It is always a good idea to log on with our Tower so that we know what your intentions are.   Thank you to our radio operator, Suzanne.

A huge thank you to Marine Rescue Leeman for their assistance and to all our wonderful volunteers - Radio Operators juggling many jobs from radio to phone calls, answering the door bell, recording incidents and a lot more - our Home Bases manning the radios at all hours to provide a 24-hours service – and our Crew and Skippers who “drop tools” at all hours and weather conditions to “man” the rescue vessels.  You are all amazing!!   Thank you!
