A big thank you to all our awesome Volunteers for another wonderful year. All the hours you give, often at very short notice and in all types of conditions, is greatly appreciated. A special thank you also to the employers in the local community for supporting our Group by allowing their employee/s to attend to an emergency incident and also time off to enable volunteers to update their skills by participating in mandatory training.

Congratulations Connie!

Our Christmas Function was held on Friday, 3rd December with our traditional Kris Kringle gift bonanza. DFES 5-year service medals were presented to Connie Holder, Ted Bown and Patrick Lucas. Congratulations Connie, Ted and Patrick. A huge thank you to Family Affair Café for their delicious and plentiful roast meal. Our two very special Ladies – Marie and Jeannie – made all the dirty dishes shine and gleam afterwards.

Thank you to everyone involved for making the evening so enjoyable.

Congratulations Ted

Congratulations Patrick

We wish all our boating members and supporters a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Stay safe, wear your life jacket, carry your flares and emergency beacon, lodge your boating plans with your local Marine Rescue Group and look after each other!
