Christmas in July Celebrations

On Friday, 15 July 2022 our hard-working volunteers let their hair down a little and celebrated Christmas in July. A great time was had by all with lots of good fun, laughter, friendship and cheer - not to mention good food and a drink or two!

Our greatest appreciation must go to one of our volunteers, Raelene Newnham and her wonderful husband, Lawrence, who provided the spit and cooked the yummy beef and pork, made all the salads and organised the whole event - you are amazing!

Thanks also to Connie, Derek and Chrissy (along with Raelene and Lawrence) for the brilliant job you did in setting up and decorating the venue so beautifully - it was magical!

Thanks to Kym and Andy for the use of your firepit - it certainly kept us toasty warm. Thank you to Sharon and Valerie for chauffeuring us all to and from the tower in the bus kindly provided by Skydive Jurien Bay and lastly thanks to the weather gods for providing a perfect evening for our indoor/outdoor event!

Best outfit for the night went to Fiona and Dash for their brilliant Princess Fiona and Shrek costumes - so good, we all loved it!

A HUGE "THANK YOU" to all of our AWESOME VOLUNTEERS who freely and willingly give up their time to keep our boating community safe. You are all an amazing bunch of people!!
