Congratulations to Eve Trutwein - Life Membership

Congratulations to our wonderful Eve Trutwein who was awarded a Life Membership of our Group. Eve is one of our long serving volunteer members who has provided exceptional loyalty, outstanding service, dedication and contribution to Marine Rescue Jurien Bay and to the broader boating community over an extended period of time.  Eve commenced with our Group on 6 October 2006 as a radio operator, both at the Tower and home base and is always willing to “lend a helping hand” when required.  Eve has demonstrated an attitude and demeanour that reflects dedication to the values of our Group. 

The presentation was held at our Sundowner Function on Sunday, 10 March 2024.  Going by the look of surprise on Eve’s face when it was announced, it was the “best kept secret” ever!!!   Congratulations again Eve, you so deserve it!!!  

Thank you to Maureen of Jurien Signs for her assistance in organising the medal and engraving.  Thank you also to our members and partners for attending the Sundowner, helping with food, dishes and cleaning and a huge thank you to Wayne for cooking the BBQ! Well done everyone.
