Sea Survival and Onboard Hazards training, which is part of the Marine Rescue Crew pathway, was held in Geraldton over the weekend of 13 and 14 September 2025. Volunteers from Shark Bay, Kalbarri, Geraldton, Port Denison and Jurien Bay all took part and made the plunge into the Geraldton Marina on a cold spring day.
Thanks to John Stewart, Marine Rescue Mandurah, who came up to assist as Trainer and Assessor and congratulations go out to Micheal Cockburn, from Marine Rescue Jurien Bay, who was under endorsement as TA and is now able to run these courses. Congratulations to all participants!!!
