Thank you Marine Rescue Leeman!!

A HUGE SHOUT OUT TO OUR WONDERFUL MARINE RESCUE LEEMAN GROUP!!  

On the afternoon of Saturday, 8 February 2025, Leeman Skippers and Crew came to our assistance to attend a rescue at North Head, when a vessel required a tow in after experiencing mechanical issues. 

Skipper Ray Willoughby and crew Danny Foale and Ivan Beard attended with their rescue vessel “Abey-Lee” as there were no skippers available at Jurien Bay.   Unfortunately, the Leeman boys were at bowls when the call for their assistance went out, but thankfully their team won while assisting our Group! 

A huge thank you to Jo, Radio Operator, at Leeman, Sharon Stiles, Radio Operator at Jurien and Ian Stiles for meeting the vessels at the jetty to provide assistance.  Ray Lewis, from Leeman, also came down with the trailer so the Leeman crew had a smooth ride home!
