WAFES 2022 Conference Sundowner, Friday, 9 September

Our Rescue 2 vessel "Bay Watch" was on display at the evenings Sundowner at Burswood on Swan. The evening provided a chance to mingle and swap ideas with the various Marine Rescue, Fire and Bush Fire Brigades, SES and their four gorgeous search dogs (who were on the receiving end of endless pats from the adoring crowd!), DFES, Government Ministers and the Commissioner for Fire and Emergency Services, Darren Klemm. Thanks to all the exhibitors and organisers for putting on a wonderful event - it certainly was a perfect evening for it! A huge thank you to Mike Cockburn, Graham Latter and Eddie Carnegie who made themselves available to answer questions and provide a tour of our new vessel. Thank you also to Cockburn Volunteer Sea Search and Rescue for hosting "Bay Watch" during our visit to Perth - very much appreciated! And another big thank you to Mike Cockburn for towing "Bay Watch" to Cockburn and return - it was a bit of a marathon!!
