Xmas in July - thank you to Jurien Bay Bowling Club

Marine Rescue Jurien Bay would like to thank the Jurien Bay Bowling Club for hosting a wonderful Xmas in July/August on Friday, 2 August for the Jurien Bay Community.  Twenty-three of our hard-working volunteers enjoyed the opportunity to get together and relax.   The catering was superb – a huge thank you to the wonderful Bowling Club volunteers who put in a lot of time and effort to make the evening such a success!!   The food, drinks and raffles were fantastic and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

A huge shout out to our members operating the radios from our tower and home bases during the winter months while some of our volunteers are absent:-

Sharon Stiles, Connie Holder, David Percival, Carla Reger, Dolly Lucas, Raelene Newnham, Riff Reeve, Julie Triffitt, Sharon Foale, Suzie Troup, Kym Vukusich, James Livingstone, Jan Ackland and our wonderful Commander, Chrissy Heu, who wears many “hats” in her various roles in the community.

A REMINDER TO BOAT MEMBERS:   Have you changed any of your details?  Maybe sold your boat, or bought a new one, changed cars or trailers, or do not wish to continue as a member, please let us know.  When a boat is overdue, we need to search the marina car park (or another launching site) to see if the vehicle or trailer are there and we do not want to be wasting valuable time searching for a vehicle or trailer with the incorrect details.  It is important that we have your correct details on file, so please help us to update our records.
